Community Defib Project

EDUCATION & COMMUNITY AWARENESS

An AED in place.
A community ready to act.

CDP can run community education sessions to help local people become more familiar with their AED and the project supporting it.

Installing a defibrillator is only the beginning. People also need to know where it is, how to access it and how they can help keep it ready for their community.

Bring your community together.

Sessions provide an opportunity for residents, local businesses, volunteers and community committees to build awareness and ask questions in a supportive setting.

Know your local AED

Explore your community’s AED locations, access arrangements and the equipment people may encounter.

Build awareness and confidence

Discuss AED use and emergency-response awareness, with session content agreed with CDP when you enquire.

Keep the project supported

Understand the role of local volunteers, monthly checks, reporting access or faults, and planning for ongoing maintenance.
