Maroota is a vibrant community located North West of Sydney CBD. The area is 30 minutes from the nearest ambulance station.
The Maroota committee has been responsible for the installation of AED #21, #22, #24 and #25 for the Maroota community.
Local business owner and local of the Hawkesbury area, Trent is passionate about assisting the local community.
Karen is a long time local of the area and active member of the Maroota Brigade for the NSW RFS. Karen is passionate about community engagement for the RFS and looks forward to bringing those skills to the Community Defib Project - Maroota.
Lindsay has lived in the South Maroota community for 8 years and is passionate about the education, health and well-being of locals. Lindsay is a Marketing Director at Western Sydney University.
Peter is the Captain of the Maroota Brigade for the NSW RFS for the last years and has extensive experience in emergency management.
Chris is a long time local of the area, oringinally from South Maroota. Chris is an active member of the Maroota Brigade for the NSW RFS and is passionate about emergency services and assisting the community.
Sophie is a Registered Paramedic and Chair of the Community Defib Project. Sophie is the representative from the board looking after the Maroota committee.
